Drama

Larne Grammar School's Drama Society has been producing musicals for the past twenty five years, providing hundreds, indeed thousands!, of pupils with opportunities to act, sing and dance their hearts out, or to help back stage with props, scenery, make-up and wardrobe.  Pupils of any age may participate, although some of the musicals we have staged lend themselves to more senior pupils - from Year 10 onwards. 

So far we have presented seventeen full scale musical productions ranging from 'Grease' and 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' to 'The King and I' and 'The Sound of Music'.

In 2007 - 2008 we will be embarking on rehersals for our new production of 'Hello Dolly!' which we are sure will be popular with pupils, parents and friends of the school.  We will be rehearsing from 3.30 to 6.00 pm every Thursday afternoon from the end of September until performances begin in early March.
