In 1942 after a meeting with the Board of Governors it was decided to adopt a motto, which would be a short and suitable 'expression of purpose' in Latin.
Mr
Darbyshire suggested a sentiment in the 15th Psalm would be appropriate
and a compression of the Psalm was found. Our Motto 'Pollicitis addere facta' This can be translated as 'To give deeds to promises' or the sentiment may be briefly put as 'Fulfil your promise'.
School Crest The School Crest was designed by Mr James H. Cathcart.
